The Coding & Robotics Instructor will teach and mentor learners in coding, robotics, computational thinking, and other technology-related skills.
We are looking for individuals who can make technology simple, practical, engaging, and fun for learners.
You do not necessarily need to be an experienced coding instructor. If you are passionate about technology, enjoy working with young people, have teaching experience, or are eager to build a career in technology education, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach coding, programming, robotics, and related technology concepts to learners.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons using practical and project-based activities.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, activities, and projects.
• Guide learners through coding and robotics projects.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.
• Support learners with different levels of technical ability.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist learners during practical sessions, projects, exhibitions, and competitions.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Participate in instructor training and professional development.
• Keep up with emerging technologies, educational tools, and teaching approaches.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and the Learning/Operations team.
• Represent JK Technology professionally when delivering programs in schools, online, or at events.

Qualifications and Experience
A degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, ICT, Education, or a related field is an advantage but is not mandatory.
Experience in teaching, coding, robotics, STEM education, ICT, or working with young learners is an advantage.
We are also open to passionate beginners and aspiring technology educators who demonstrate strong potential and a willingness to learn.
Relevant Technology Skills
Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
• Scratch or block-based programming
• Code.org
• PictoBlox
• mBlock
• Python
• JavaScript
• Web development
• MIT App Inventor
• Arduino
• Tinkercad
• LEGO Robotics
• Microcontrollers and electronics
• Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies
You do not need to know all of these. Training may be provided depending on your background and role.
